 Terry Carlson, Navigant Consulting
Terry Carlson is a Director of Navigant Consulting, Inc. at the firm’s Washington, D.C. office where he advises clients on the regulations, guidelines, and cost accounting standards applicable to government contractors.
Mr. Carlson spent 20 years as President of his own firm, T. A. Carlson and Company, providing consulting services to the contracting community. He was previously a Professor of Financial Management at the Defense Systems Management College and taught courses in accounting and management information systems as an assistant professor of accounting at Villanova University.
Mr. Carlson served as a manager in the Government Contractor Advisory Services department of a major international accounting firm and as a Staff Finance Consultant for a major defense contractor, where he responded to Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) queries. In addition, he served as a DCAA auditor responsible for evaluating contractor submissions.
He is a frequent speaker on government contracting issues and has had articles on contract administration and risk management published in professional journals. He is also currently an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland, where he teaches procurement courses. |
